Former minor league baseball player Michael Jordan (he also played basketball for the Chicago Bulls) cracked jokes about President Barack Obama’s golf game last week. On Tuesday Obama returned the favor, telling Wisconsin’s WJMR that Jordan had notions.
“There is no doubt that Michael is a better golfer than I am,” Obama said. “Of course if I was playing twice a day for the last 15 years, then that might not be the case.”
“He might want to spend more time thinking about the Bobcats, or the Hornets,” Obama added jokingly. (Jordan is the majority owner of the Charlotte Bobcats/Hornets, who were swept by the Miami Heat in the first round of the 2014 playoffs.)
